Tragedy will give birth to blessing; grief will give birth to
joy. [The 365-Day Devotional Commentary]
Although God can do this for anyone, anytime and anywhere; there
are special times where this experience will happen:
When we come to Jesus: Matthew 11:28 (KJV) Come unto
me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest.
When we believe in Jesus: John 7:38 He that believeth
on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow
rivers of living water.
When we are forgiven: 1 John 1:9 If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.
When we are converted: 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
When we receive the Holy Spirit: Galatians 5:22-23 But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no
law.
When we pray: Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in
thee.
When we read the Bible: Acts 20:32 And now, brethren,
I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able
to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them
which are sanctified.
When we serve Him: Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait
upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with
wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall
walk, and not faint.
When we sing to Him: Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul
and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard
them.
When we suffer for Him: 1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye
suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of
their terror, neither be troubled;
When we witness for Him: Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye
therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe
all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
When we worship Him: Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the
path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand
there are pleasures for evermore.
When we walk with Him: Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee,
O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but
to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
When we wait on Him: Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be
of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say,
on the Lord.
Most anything that draws upon God's Sprit: 2 Cor. 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty.
Then finally when we are raptured: Rev. 21:4 And God
shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for the former things are passed away.
