Yet it's far more miraculous to think that the One who fashioned the stars and the galaxies, and everything seen and unseen throughout the universe, stepped onto planet Earth on a rescue mission for lost and sinful people. When our foolish rebellion separated us from the God who formed us to both know and love Him forever, Jesus spoke up for you and me. And in the end, in human skin, the sinless and perfect Son of God exchanged His life for every twisted thing that we have done. In that single act, the star breather became the sin bearer. The universe Maker became humanity's Savior. It truly is a stupendous and astronomical act of grace. God didn't leave us unclear on how to measure His love. He displayed the gravity of His affection for us on the cross. Dwell on that reality today, and wonder at the depth of His love for you.
